The Sweet Service Award goes to Audi Centre Somerset West and its Sales Manager Linda Keppler, for her excellent efficient service in selling me a new Audi. She took over the communication when I was unhappy with one of her colleagues, and was excellent at keeping me informed, and in following up after the purchase of the car. Compared to five other dealerships (VW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi), her service was beyond superior. The trade-in value offered for my car was the most generous of the six dealerships too.
The Sour Service Award goes to Equinox Restaurant in Plettenberg Bay, for closing its restaurant for a holiday break in the last week of January, without notification on its board outside the restaurant. A signboard tells one that they close for 90 minutes before the Dinner service, so I waited outside until that time. Nothing happened at re-opening time. When I called them, The Lookout above answered, and said that they were closed until 1 February!
