The Sweet Service Award goes to Chair Crazy, for its good and quick service in the purchase of a table I was looking for to write at, white, square, and 750 mm high. I had looked at three other furniture sh0ps, and would have had to compromise on the size of the table, its color, and its availability. The table at Chair Crazy was the last one I saw, offered a choice of legs, I choosing the one with the most leg space, in black, was half the price to those I’d seen before, and was available immediately, quickly wrapped up in bubble wrap, and carried to my car a few blocks away. It is perfect in all respects!

The Sour Service Award goes to Berman Brothers Group in Sea Point, landlords of The Point Mall. I wanted assistance with the discriminatory action of one of its tenants, and found the separate entrance to the Berman Beother’ Group Offices at the side of The Point Mall. I asked the receptionist if I could see the Tenant Liaison person, but the person at the reception desk said that she is the Managing Director of the company. I explained my problem to her, but she seemingly had no interest in my complaint at all, addressing me with arrogance.  She took my business card, and promised to call me back after speaking to the tenant. I am still waiting two months later….
