Sweet Service Award goes to Big Concerts; Sour Service Award goes to Auto & General!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Big Concerts, for their smooth organisation of the Ed Sheeran concert at the Cape Town Stadium last night as well as on Wednesday evening. From booking the add-on show for last night, collecting the tickets early this year at Computicket in Camps Bay, finding parking easily on High Level Road in Green Point, minimal security checks to get into the stadium, good toilet facilities, and entertainment with Shekhinha opening the show, followed by Ed Sheeran’s friend Passenger, and then the man himself, Ed being humble, entertaining, energetic, performing for two hours, outstanding sound quality, with amazing graphics and visuals on the multi-screen stage.

The Sour Service Award goes to Auto & General insurance company, for taking their premium before month-end, contrary to the original agreement that it be done at the beginning of the month, smacking of greed and unprofessionalism.

The WhaleTales Sweet & Sour Service Awards are presented every Friday on the WhaleTales blog. Nominations for the Sweet and Sour Service Awards can be sent to Chris von Ulmenstein at chrisvonulmenstein [at] gmail.com. Past winners of the Sweet and Sour Service Awards can be read on the Friday posts of this blog.
