The Sweet Service Award goes to the Fireplace Studio, and its salesman Wayne Malgas, for the speedy installation of a gas fireplace, in less than a week after I gave them the go-ahead! The unit had to be couriered down from Johannesburg, and a gas bottle had to be delivered by Eddles Gas, all parties doing their best to meet my deadline. I am still waiting for a fireplace quotation from Italcotta, despite having done a follow up call to the sales consultant, two weeks after he called. 

The Sour Service Award goes to Uber and its driver Seline, for his rudeness. I saw him drive past my house, and stop at the incorrect address, despite waving at him (with my suitcase in hand). I had to call him around the corner, and I asked him if he had not seen me. He took this as a personal affront, and then questioned me as to my name! I directed him to the fastest way to the highway, and he seemed insulted by this too, barely answering me, and then telling me that I was rude, and should find myself another Uber driver, despite the payment having gone off my credit card before he had even arrived at my house!
