A very recent restaurant opening is that of Café Paris in Green Point, a space I was watching being transformed when I drove past on Main Road. As my friend from Paris is visiting again, we decided to give it a try for a late breakfast/brunch yesterday. Continue reading →
Just over a month ago I met Parisian Instagram follower Aurélie Jullien by chance at a Woolies in Sea Point, she recognizing me, revisiting Cape Town in loving its restaurants and the beauty of the city. The Sweet Service Award goes to Tease Hair & Beauty, and its owner Vida Croeser, for her generosity in sponsoring a hair cut and colour without charge, kindly organized by Marina Nestel. Vida has 30 years’ salon experience, but this is her first own salon, which also offers a beauty salon service. Tease has just opened in Green Point. We update information about newly opened and closed restaurants continuously, and welcome such news.
