The Sweet Service Award goes to Audi Cape Town, and its Service Manager Hennie Kriel and colleague Luvo, for continuously providing 11/10 service. I am unable to reset my low tyre pressure message in the car’s complicated on-board computer, and can just drive in and one of the two gentlemen will reset it for me. Similarly, when I lost my FM stations, and they reset it to FM. The workshop truly operates to its 11/10 goal in the customer service it offers.

The Sweet Service Award goes to  the City of Cape Town, and its Trainee Cashier Jarred Knipe, for the speedy service in renewing the licence for my car at the Civic Centre. I came armed with a copy of my ID and once again the proof of my residence, which I had organised especially elsewhere prior to my visit to the Motor Vehicle Registration Officer. One is allocated a number on arrival, after enquiring  why one is visiting. My number was about eleven numbers after the counters servicing clients. Many clients did not respond to the numbers. Before my number came up, a roving admin staff member asked me what I had come for and directed me to the Cash Office immediately. Jarred is a relatively new staff member, still on training! He completed the paperwork and payment within five minutes, it having taken me a total of ten minutes to renew the registration of the car, something that has taken an hour at least in the past! I had to pinch myself that I was not dreaming. And to add to the service delight, Service Manager Hennie Kriel, replaced the licence disc for me when I popped in at Audi Cape Town for assistance with something completely unrelated!  (more…)

The Sweet Service Award goes to Audi Cape Town, and its amazing customer-caring Service Manager Hennie Kriel. My car had been in for panel beating at Farber Coachworks whilst I was overseas, and they must have disconnected the electronics in doing so, as the time on the dashboard was incorrect. The dashboard also told me that my car key needed a new battery. Hennie sorted out both problems quickly, as he always does, and there was no charge, as the battery cost is covered by the Maintenance Plan. The service by Audi Cape Town is almost as fabulous as driving an Audi!  (more…)

The Sweet Service Award goes to Audi Cape Town, and its Service Advisor Hennie Kriel, for his friendliness and efficiency in helping me to get my car key to flick open, a little screw having been responsible for the problem. On his desk is a sign that they offer 11/10 service excellence, and it encourages customers to demand it, and express it if they are not satisfied. Hennie has impressed me with his superb service since meeting him at the dealership early this year.  (more…)

audi-centre-va-waterfront-3The Sweet Service Award goes to Audi in the V&A Waterfront, and its Service Ambassador Hennie Kriel, for his assistance in reconnecting my car phone to the bluetooth in my new upgraded cellphone. He also helped me to get a tyre pressure warning removed, after a slow puncture was fixed. Instead of doing it for me, he made me do it, whilst instructing me, so that I am able to do it myself in future.  (more…)
