Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Gratitude for another beautiful sunny day, the wind picking up this afternoon but not too badly; for an industrious working morning and afternoon; for the luck of having adopted a Kitten, which I’ll fetch later this week, thanks to Johnny Nortje for sending me a link to the adoption agency 😻😻😻; for an energetic Camps Bay cardio walk uphill, including the dreaded Houghton Steps, worth it for the 300 point reward; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

My Blogpost today was about Whats App, Telegram, and Signal, and the differences between the three communication platforms. I’m not sure how we will keep up in finding messages on What’s App, Telegram, Signal, Messenger, Facebook, email, LinkedIn, sms, and heaven knows what else! My Telegram account has been flooded with notifications of new Telegram users.

There is a lot of paper work in adopting a cat, filling in an application form, which I sent with a video of my home, in which Minsky starred, which helped, I think. Then I got the good news that my adoption was approved, so I had to fill in another form and send proof of payment. And then I was given the choice of when I want to fetch my little boy. I’m sure Minsky will be super excited to meet him. 😻😻😻😻

It’s one of those wine evenings prior to the President’s Speech 🍷… please may he be kind to the restaurant industry. 🙏

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
