Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a lovely day, at 30C plus in parts of the city, a strong wind coming up late afternoon; for doing some work this morning; for a Hartlief shop in the Gardens Centre, so lovely when the staff asked where I’ve been; for finding tiny figs at Food Lovers Market, amazingly priced, not going there regularly enough; for attending a charity German Rotary Club Garden Party at the residence of Madam Consul of Germany in Bishopscourt, selling Bratwurst and Leberkäse on rolls, and beer, all that was missing was oompah music, the jazz being loud and awful, and the marimba band much nicer, seating in the shade in short supply, given the heat, I not lasting there long, Rose Klein and Hans-Werner Klein being there too; for buying more figs at the Fruit stand at the Constantia Circle, mistake number one; for looking for an iced coffee and a chocolate cake treat at Deus Café in Hout Bay, fabulous cake with dreadful service, no staff wearing masks, mistake number two; for a lovely sunset walk through Bakoven ❤️; for writing three blogposts for next week this afternoon; for lovely Kfm Blokparty music without ads or talking ❤️; for my Resting Heart Rate declininminskyg steadily since my return from the trip; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙

I’m worried about Minsky. She hasn’t been home since this morning. 🙀

PS 23h00: Minsky has just returned home, after a full day of gallivanting.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December,  extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June, extended by two weeks on 11 July,  returned to Level 3 on 26 July, returned to Level 2 on 13 September, returned to Level 1 on 1 October,  and the Curfew Curfew lifted on 30 December 2021 is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
