Sunday 28 March, Full Moon, Day 28 of Level 1 Lockdown
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Gratitude for a cooler day, sunny and ending on a humid note; for three delicious sets of sleep since last night, adding up to over 9 hours; for my hip ache of the last three days, with a limp, having disappeared 💙💙💙; for a Camps Bay Community Beach Clean, disappointing in its attendance but meeting lovely new locals, while having my Dilmah on the Beachside of the road, brought to me by the ever kind Emma from The 41 Restaurant, sponsoring beverages and a prize 🙏; for buying cat treats at Absolute Pets; for a refreshing walk to Bakoven and back; for 100 Discovery walking points and 360 Healthy Food points; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
I went to say hello to the staff of okja, previously Maison J. What a fabulous surprise that they are selling Jason’s croissants again. 🥐 💙
A crazy screaming, shouting, and singing party two blocks away has ended abruptly, probably with police intervention. 😡👏
SA Corona Status 1 545 431 cases 52648 deaths 😷😢 231605 vaccinations

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
