Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a cool day, at 18C, with a little rain at midday, making it nice and cozy in bed all morning, going on a Social Media posting spree; for a walk to Camps Bay, Rose Klein and Hans-Werner Klein driving past and stopping for a chat, making a date for next Saturday; for a lovely sunset this evening; for popping in at Utopia, to hear SiAnne Wilkens sing, and to photograph some of their dishes; and for being happy and healthy 🙏💙

I wanted to buy cat treats at Pick n Pay, but they have just increased in price by more than 10%. Luckily Woolies sells them too, for less. 🥵
What was meant to be a quick visit turned into a three hour one. SiAnne sings beautifully, jazz as well as pop hits, and she serenaded a couple that got engaged this evening, so I photographed them. What a busy restaurant, completely full this evening. 🎶❤️

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
