The Sweet Service Award goes to The Department of Health, for proactively sending a link via sms so that I could print out my Proof of Vaccination. A completely surprising superb service from a government t department!
The Sour Service Award goes to Starke Ayres in Rosebank, for its uncharacteristic poor service a week ago. I ran into the nursery, heading to a meeting in the Southern Suburbs, so needed quick and efficient service. A supervisor passed me onto what appeared to be a staff member, who marched ahead of me to the herb department, as I told her I wanted spinach and coriander plants. Instead she took me to the lettuce department, handing me a tray with reddish lettuce! I had to call for assistance, so that I could find the spinach. When I got home, I discovered that the ‘chives’ I had thought I had bought were in fact spring onions! The manager on duty was unsympathetic when I had him called, saying that I should have seen the Student badge on their jacket! I was not verbally informed that they were students doing an internship at Stark Ayres, until he told me! They clearly do not know any herbs!
