#Grateful for a beautiful day, cooler than yesterday and windy, but not very strong; for an almost full day of writing and admin; for a lovely relaxing walk all the way up to 4th Beach Clifton, earning 300 Discovery points; for hearing from Hennie Kriel at Audi that I have one more free car service as part of my Maintenance Plan, so I have booked it for next week; for dancing the rest of my steps to Kfm; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for the lovely rain which fell overnight; for a cooler but sunny day; for not having to write a story today, having written two yesterday; for two lovely walks through Camps Bay, one combined with a shop at a Woolies, happy to see so little litter; for a lovely chat to Elna Schütz, a freelance writer for Daily Maverick; for a lovely meeting with Michael Duffet, a freelance producer for Carte Blanche in preparation for an interview about one of my Blog court case victories; for dancing to Dansdag on Kfm; for the noisy Ghanaian apartment renters above me having checked out today 👏👏👏👏; for the City of Cape Town promising the end of water restrictions and the lowest water tariff from 1 November; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for another rainy day, surprising as it wasn’t forecast on my Weather App, making it a cosy day in bed, writing and doing admin; for the cats keeping me company in my bed, KitKat having got sopping wet when the rain arrived suddenly; for a successful cancellation of my Building Insurance given that the Hermanus house Transfer is close to happening, and is now the responsibility of the purchaser; for a chat with a recruiter for a German language travel job; for a refreshing walk to Camps Bay, getting caught in the rain, and popping in at the Law Enforcement Office of my friend Officer Ivor Ramsay, getting advice about the alleged illegal activities in Camps Bay; for being a calm and relaxed day; for my Resting Heart Rate being on a steady decline since the beginning of the ‘long weekend’; for dancing the rest of my steps to Kfm; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
