\"\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to the suppliers in Plettenberg who helped make the re-opening of Whale Cottage Plettenberg Bay earlier this week\u00a0such an easy task at reasonably short notice.\u00a0 We wish to thank Arlene’s Pool Services, Plett Garden Services, ADT\u00a0and Plett Window Cleaners.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to Vodacom, and their agents Cellucity in the Somerset Mall.\u00a0 Orginally this was planned as a\u00a0Sweet Service Award, but the delight\u00a0at the branch manager Herman managing to overrride the release of one of their precious stock of iPhone 4 for an upgrade (it is Cellucity’s policy to only sell the new iPhone model to new contract holders, and not to existing customers, despite promises of a two week wait) quickly turned sour.\u00a0 When I bought the micro-sim (has to be paid for, in addition to the upgrade cost, of R150 each)\u00a0for the new phone, it could not be activated, because the November Vodacom payment via EasyPay had not reflected on their side.\u00a0 It took a further four days of nagging and calling Cellucity to get the phone to work with the new sim card.\u00a0 Service improved when Herman took over the negotiations with Vodacom, and action happened when I called the Vodacom Accounts department myself.\u00a0 It appeared that they had not received proof of one of the payments from Cellucity!<\/p>\n
