Heston Blumenthal is the owner of the three Michelin star Fat Duck in Bray in the UK,\u00a0one of the world’s top 10 restaurants.\u00a0\u00a0 More than 400 patrons of the restaurant have become ill after eating at The Fat Duck between\u00a0end-January and mid-February.\u00a0\u00a0 The restaurant closed two weeks ago\u00a0and will remain so until the cause of the illness can be identified, reports Associated Press<\/strong>.\u00a0 Numerous alternatives for the illness have been evaluated, including sabotage, bad stock, or\u00a0infection via an ill employee.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Blumenthal is well-known for using gels, enzymes, and\u00a0liquid nitrogen in his cooking, as well as techniques such as dehydration and vacuum cooking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
