\"\"The Sweet Service Award<\/b> goes to Woolworths, for opening a long-awaited branch of its FOOD store in Camps Bay yesterday. The retailer handed out rusks at the traffic light, to attract attention to the store opening, and offered early bird shoppers R50 discount vouchers. The Manager of the store Lee Worship and the Foods Manager Gary Arendse were friendly in welcoming us to their new store. We as Camps Bat residents are delighted to have the store in walking distance. <\/p>\n

  1. \"\"The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to Standard Bank, and its Fraud Department, for the poor quality of their call centre. I did two payments on one day to the Portuguese airline TAP, and the second of these was declined. I received a call immediately, from someone whose English was extremely poor. I was asked numerous security questions, and the caller became impatient when I tried to explain to him what I had done on my side, instructing me to listen, or else he would have my credit card blocked! As I was leaving for the weekend, I had to keep my mouth shut until the call was done! <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
