Chef Peter Tempelhoff announced the opening of a new \u2018funky\u2019 restaurant in Cape Town on Kfm last week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other recent restaurant openings are&nbsp;Exhibit A of Chefs Rikku O\u2019Donnch\u00fc and Warwick King on Bree Street in Cape Town, La Ch\u00eane was opened by Chef Darren Badenhorst at Leeu Estates in Franschhoek, and Cowboys &amp; Cooks has opened in De Waterkant.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With rating agencies giving our economy a thumbs down, our Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni painting a bleak picture of our economy, and our economic growth rate at almost zero, it is no surprise that there are few, if any, restaurant openings planned for the rest of the 2019\/2020 summer season.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u><b>Cape Town restaurant openings&nbsp;<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<p># &nbsp;Exhibit A fine dining restaurant has opened on the 3rd floor of the Villa 47 building in the city centre, for lunch and dinner on Tuesdays &#8211;
