\"\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award <\/b>goes to Sorbet in Camps Bay, and its staff Lauren and Rongina for their excellent service earlier this week. It was a joyous reconnection with Lauren, who had been on maternity leave and whom I last saw in May last year, having returned to work in January. She is the most gentle leg waxer, adding in a little massage too.  Equally Rongina knows my nail polish colour when I come for a pedicure, and is gentle in her handling of my feet, a monthly treat. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to Clicks on Regent Road in Sea Point, and its Pharmacy Manager Dee Milanzi, who handled my prescription for an antibiotic. As she was not wearing a name badge, I asked her immediately if she is a trained pharmacist, as they have trainees working there too. She seemed to take offence to that, hauled out the badge and explained that she went for lunch and had taken off the badge then (I arrived at about 17h00), and had forgotten to put it back on. Even stranger was that she put her badge back into her pocket, which she could not give a reason for. When I asked where all the nice male pharmacists were, she was cheeky in her reply. She then started singing while tapping away at the computer, taking a long time to input the information. She did not like me questioning the professionalism: of her singing. When I left Tge pharmacy section to go and pay, after waiting even longer for the tablets because she had to sign off a colleague\u2019s prescription, she spoke about me in Xhosa! <\/p>\n
