#Grateful for a beauty of a summer\u2019s day, so warm and with so many people out and about, walking and on the road thst it felt as if there would a traffic jam going through Camps Bay; for doing a deep-clean of the Camps Bay Beachfront with Joel this morning; for being calm and at peace, despite it being in Full Moon zone; for super Vit D therapy on the terrace this afternoon; for my FitBit having recovered to measure my steps again, but only 14 min of my heart beat….; for doing a second walk through Bakoven this afternoon; for so many friends caring about me, I receiving some advice about my Facebook post yesterday, so I amended it; for having the joy of Minsky living with me for 14 days already, completely at home, and loving my desk chair the most for sleeping on; and for being happy and healthy. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
I woke early and caught up on Social Media until Joel arrived this morning, being up to date by the time we left.<\/p>\n
I was delighted to welcome Joel back to Camps Bay today, to do a first 5-hour deep-clean after 3 months. Joel has worked with me before, a Homeless person who lives at the Safe Space shelter in town.<\/p>\n
We picked up plastic washed up on the beaches, picked up litter, cleaned up the Stream at the Tidal Pool, removed kelp which was blocking the stream water from running into the ocean, and emptied all the very full green bins on the sea side of Victoria Road, as the City Council does not get to those regularly. We removed dog poo from the pavement too. We used the first of the 2000 garbage bags which were donated to us by the City just before Lockdown.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll request that the grass at the Promenade gets a mow, and that some of the palm trees get trimmed, some of their branches hanging low over the pavements.<\/p>\n
What a shock to hear on Kfm that Lion\u2019s Head has been closed for hiking and walking with immediate effect. This was Helen Byrnes explanation:<\/p>\n

For the last month I have been watching broadcasts of Hope@Home on German TV Station ZDF, which started off in the Berlin home of violinist Daniel Hope, but now is also performed in special venues in Berlin and other German cities (in the Frauenkirche in Dresden tonight). He invites musical guests to perform with him, as well as top German actors who read moving pieces.<\/p>\n
I could not have dreamt that he has a link to our country, until I read yesterday that he is the son of Christopher Hope, an Award-winning South African novelist from Johannesburg. Daniel was born in Durban! His biography describes him as British-Irish. He also writes books, and holds various musical positions.<\/p>\n
His concerts are even more enjoyable to me now, having read up about his background. \ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
The concert broadcasts have become a huge hit and are on-going. \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this week to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, and lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime.
