I love the puddles on the way, and the reflections in them, loving to photograph them. Something new on the pavement today was three words with meaning, starting off outside my home, spread out along Bali Bay: Friend, Giving, Caring, written in chalk. No clue who it is written by.<\/p>\n<p>My first stop was in New Church Street, at The Slick Group central kitchen, where owner Ian Halfon showed me around, starting off with a sanitization blast from a foot-operated device and having my temperature taken. I love the packaging design for the five Restaurant brands they are launching with. Every Food Delivery parcel is sealed, to ensure maximum hygiene safety. Covid-19 Hygiene signs are all over the building, inside and outside.<\/p>\n<p>I drove past a Deli\/coffee shop, The Ladder, on Bree Street, which I\u2019d never seen before. I stopped, and bought some Dalewood Fromage cheese, a croissant, and raw honey, all reasonably priced.<\/p>\n<p>I was heading for FYN Restaurant, to drop off a prize of ADHARA extra virgin olive oil to the restaurant, Charmaine Nolan having won a prize for her review of the FYN Food Delivery. I had struggled to reach Jennifer Hug\u00e9 of the Restaurant, as they are so busy, so we agreed that I would drop it off at the building reception. Janet Pillai Mayer Family<\/p>\n<p>I had to walk past Pilcrow &amp; Cleaver to get back to my car, so spontaneously popped in, never having eaten there and only having been there once before to take some photographs of their lovely interior. As it was raining, a roasted tomato soup sounded delicious, as did Duck spring rolls, prepared while I waited. Leigh handles Operations and the plant-based dishes, and was friendly and welcoming. A lovely Friday evening treat &#8230; enjoying it by candlelight, and with some red wine. \ud83c\udf77\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n<p>My final stop was at Dinkel German Bakery, looking for a poppyseed roll, my favorite. They had sold out, but I left the bakery with an unusual carrot rye bread. \ud83d\ude31 Cain\u2019s Service is always special. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n<p>My steps for today are done, so off to a cosy warm bed with my Lady Minsky. She gets a little taste of being outside every day now, but I\u2019m still nervous about her running around freely.
