#Grateful for the little bit of rain we had early this morning, with more to come overnight and all of tomorrow; for having my helper Joel to assist me in cleaning up Camps Bay every second week; for Maison J keeping croissants for me until the end of my walk, and spoiling me with a bonus; for a very relaxed day, allowing myself a two hour sleep \ud83d\ude34 ; for my new FitBit Charge 4 working perfectly, being able to get my sleep time and heart beat readings again, the battery still almost fully charged, and reading at least 1000 steps more than Apple Health; for a visit by Thabied Harris to drop off a treat of Brewz Krew coffee and Bee Wild honey with a catch up chat; for a catch-up call from Shaun Terry; for listening to Hope @ Home on Tour, performing in the Richard Strauss Haus in Garmisch-Patenkirchen, the American Solist Thomas Hampson describing these incredible concerts as an \u2018oasis of humanity\u2019 \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f, so proud of organizer and violinist Daniel Hope, with his SA roots and now living in Berlin; for another concert coming up, L\u2019Chaim, which includes Goldfish, how lucky are we….. ?; for my fourth week with Madame Minsky \ud83d\udc31\u2764\ufe0f; and for being healthy and happy \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
My helper Joel from The Safe Space homeless shelter came to clean up on the beachfront today, concentrating on Bali Bay beach, and removing the weeds on the river bank at the Tidal Pool. He found a new Homeless shelter being built in a gulley near the SAPS parking area, the location of previous structures. I see a huge fire burning there every evening. \ud83d\udd25 Sadly we have no Law Enforcement staff operating in Camps Bay anymore.<\/p>\n
While he was cleaning the stream I walked as far as Second Beach Clifton, to remove dog poo with my rake, most of it being in Clifton – unbelievable that dog owners do not pick it up. \ud83d\ude21. In the past week there have been fewer domestic garbage bags left outside in Clifton and Glen Beach, and hence there have been no torn garbage bags at all, making it such a pleasure to walk all the way up to First Beach. \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n
My Danish friend Soren drove past on my walk in Clifton, and gave a huge wave. #Tak<\/p>\n

Minsky did her second disappearing act this week today, staying away for one and a half hours. I looked for her on the neighboring erf, but there was no sign of her. Luckily my eye caught sight of her, right at the edge of our property, where there is a donga against our wall, and she struggled to find a way to get back on to our wall, but one jump and she was back at home, despite the electric fence. She always seems exhausted after these \u2018escatapades\u2019, and so do I, getting to my nerves. ….. \ud83d\udc31\ud83d\ude31<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, and lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/b><\/p>\n
