&#8212; Whale Tales Blog\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chrisvonulmenstein.com\/blog\/cape-town\/corona-lockdown-government-keeps-restaurants-in-the-dark-as-to-reopening-date-and-regulations-for-sit-down-service\/embed\/#?secret=U9cg8h2tr3\" data-secret=\"U9cg8h2tr3\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><b>General Standards:<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Appoint a Covid Safety Officer<\/li>\n<li>Everyone entering a restaurant must wear a mask<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Check temperatures and screen for symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Implement Social Distancing guidelines, between 1,5 to 2 meters.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with all guests and staff.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Staff Standards<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>All staff to wear masks<\/li>\n<li>Train staff in Covid protocols and standards<\/li>\n<li>Staff to not travel in work uniform<\/li>\n<li>Staff to wear prescribed safety gear<\/li>\n<li>Staff to wash their hands every 20 minutes for 20 seconds with soap and water<\/li>\n<li>Keep staff on shifts the same.<\/li>\n<li>Check temperature and screen for symptoms daily<\/li>\n<li>Staff to be Social Distanced 1,5 meters apart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Back of House Standards<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1.
