What a surprise to see an Old Town Italy food and coffee truck in the parking area, an Umhlanga Deli Brand that is expected to open in Cape Town by Life &amp; Brand, an absolute favorite of mine in KZN. My friends and I were surprised when I was welcomed by name by Mario, recognizing me from my dancing at La Parada Bree Street \ud83d\udc83\ud83d\udc83\ud83d\udc83. The Barn is a decor treat, the work of Chef Quentin himself. Chef Quentin is renowned for having been the private chef of the late Sol Kerzner when he was in town. I\u2019ll write a separate post about our dinner tomorrow. My SwitchBitch books, reflecting my stages of transformation and experiences with men in the past three years, had everyone in shock and in stitches \ud83d\ude02 What an amazing evening.
