\"\"The Sweet Service Award<\/b> goes to Discovery Insure, and its Claims Administrator Tovhowani Mufamadi, for the excellent service I received from him in efficiently dealing with my claim for damage caused due to a storm, responding almost immediately to my emails, and keeping me posted during all the steps of the claim process. I had switched to Discovery Insure just two months prior to the storm, but that did not affect my claim. Of all the Discovery staff that I have dealt with telephonically or by email during Lockdown \u00a0Tovhowani has been a shining star compared to the other Discovery staff. He received a 10\/10 score from me when Discovery sent me a service survey.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Sour Service Award<\/b> <\/i>goes to Out of the Blue in Franschhoek, one of the shops I most looked forward to visiting earlier this week, but disappointed that it had closed for the day just after 16h00 when I arrived there. I returned the following day, and was ignored after entering the shop, looking at some dresses, there being two other customers in the shop. When the shop assistant finally acknowledged me, she asked me what I wanted, and I explained that I could not see the price and size tag. I asked her for the required size and she hung it in the cubicle. I looked at some other outfits and at a brooch, but realised that she had put an Extra Small dress into the cubicle when I tried to try it on. She then had to look for a bigger size. I reminded her about the size I had requested. She replied a number of times in a translated \u2018Ag nee man\u2019, which sounded like \u2018man\u2019 to me, and not \u2018mam\u2019 as she claimed to have said. She was argumentative, and not together, so I walked out, shocked at the poor service, compared to what I have experienced in the shop over the years of shopping there, even buying online during earlier stages of the Corona Lockdown.<\/p>\n
