But I loved writing it, the cleverness of what we experienced on Monday evening becoming even clearer, taking a step back three days later. Owner and Chef Matt sent me the sweetest message : \u2018Mit Tr\u00e4nen in den Augen!!! Im at total loss for words\ud83e\udd2d I need a moment to gather my thoughts after that incredibly beautiful piece you wrote\u2019. We sat outside, but it was quite noisy.<\/p>\n<p>The Mynhardt box arrived early this morning, decorated on the outside with Christmas decorations. It was a Fruitcake, accompanied by the ingredients which were used to bake the cake: KWV 10 year old brandy, Sasko self-raising flour, Moir\u2019s vanilla essence, and glazed cherries, Montagu raisins, sultanas, fruitcake mix, almonds, and dates. A packet of Renosterbos filter coffee was in the box too. Lots of information was included in the goodie-box too, which I need to work through. #Thankyou to Mynhardt Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s sad to hear of yet another restaurant closure, Viande at Grande Roche in Paarl, announced by Chef Pete Goffe-Wood today.<\/p>\n<p>The illegal occupiers of a Camps Bay AirBnB have checked out after almost two weeks, following a court order.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s started drizzling already, a strong South Easter lying ahead.
