Very exciting, with lots of trucks taking up the parking spaces. The producer I spoke to said they are so grateful for this film job, probably the first big one since Lockdown. \ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n<p>I attended the first event since Lockdown this evening at Bokeh Creative Space, with only 50 invitees allowed in, after the Covid protocols. I had never met Denise, but knew of her Ginger &amp; Lime cookery school and event venue. I had met Adrian Lazarus of Bokeh Fashion Film Festival, who owns the venue, at which one can have tea or coffee, and the most fabulous chocolate cake and carrot cake, and\/or have one\u2019s hair styled, an unusual combo. Tonight it was the venue for the book launch, our function treats by Ginger &amp; Lime packaged in individual containers, all served with skewers to allow one to eat with one\u2019s fingers: fish, meat, and a vegetarian offering. Pairing was with Piper-Heidsieck champagne. Denise\u2019s book was introduced by Cathy Steed, who used to be the Manager of Blues in Camps Bay, and it became a question and answer session. It ended with four prizes being available to the attendees. I answered the question as to who Denise regards as her mentor, knowing that it is Chef Liam Tomlin. So I received a copy of the new book and a bottle of the Piper-Heidsieck champagne. So ironic&#8230;. \ud83d\ude31\ud83d\ude0a\ud83d\ude02 Gary Peterson you\u2019ll understand this.
