Corona Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f<\/u><\/p>\n

#Grateful for a lovely smooth flowing day; for it being a warm 24C day without wind; for a PowerWalk to Clifton and back, happy that it gave me 300 Discovery points after yesterday\u2019s disappointing points; for a bonus 400 points for my healthy Pick n Pay purchases; for a good status meeting with my client, finalising the Valentine\u2019s Day Menu \u2764\ufe0f; for collecting my poppyseed rolls at Dinkel Bakery; for shopping for my German treats at Hartlief; for a quick pop-in at the Waterfront, quiet this afternoon, paying my hopefully last Vodacom contract account ever; for a chocolate purchase at Tomes \u2764\ufe0f, and collecting my post; for a late breakfast at the WCaf\u00e9 at Woolworths; for collecting ordered lightbulbs at RG Jack for our apartment block; for a lovely dinner at Utopia with dear friend Charlotte Zachariou and her husband Nick, visiting our city from Knysna, being spoilt with oysters, they eating the Tasting Menu (5 courses at R195) while I had an octopus starter and ice cream dessert, playing Uber for them; and for being happy and healthy. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n

It was a toss up between writing a blogpost today, and walking, and the latter won. Thursdays are my busiest day of the week, so I was writing all morning and preparing for my Status meeting.<\/p>\n

A lesson learnt yet again. There is good in almost everything, no matter how disappointing it seems initially. After my CK one order with Loot was not fulfilled, 21 days after placing the order, I had to find the product elsewhere. Clicks no longer stocks it. So I Googled. And found TakeaLot does, at one-third less the price which I had paid at Loot, which has not yet refunded the payment of my order.<\/p>\n

My Kits were happy to see me when I got home, close to the start of Curfew. \ud83d\ude3b\ud83d\ude3b<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, and extended to 15 February on 11 January, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/p>\n
