#Grateful for a fabulous day that just got better and better, ending off on a high note; for a lovely warm day with little wind, although the mountains were covered in clouds; for a brisk walk to Clifton, earning 300 Discovery points, being less stressed about mask-wearing as there were fewer walkers about; for a longer than planned Skype meeting with a representative of my Canadian Tour Guiding company based in India, talking about the company\u2019s marketing and Social Media, which I will assist them with, and writing Cape Town content too; for my two poppy seed rolls waiting for me at Dinkel Bakery; for being healthy enough to donate blood; for a good status meeting with my client over lunch, I having a healthy delicious Caprese Salad; for a long-overdue session with my podiatrist; for popping in at the WCaf\u00e9 at Woolies in Sea Point for a juice; for being spoilt when I went to see George Sax at the new Kloof Street Hotel; for being thoroughly spoilt by Gary Peterson and Thomas, as well as by the new \u00eblgr, the restaurant with the most difficult name in Cape Town, meaning \u2018moose\u2019; and for being happy and healthy. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
I had to give up writing a blogpost in favour of my walk this morning, as it was the only way in which I could reach\/exceed my step goal.<\/p>\n
We had such an amazing dinner at \u00eblgr, spoilt with complimentary cocktails, bread, and a chocolate sorbet. Excellent service, beautiful transformation of the outside seating area, very sheltered against the wind. We shared three main courses and desserts. I\u2019m using some of Gary\u2019s beautiful pics, and posting more \u00eblgr pics tomorrow, as the first post I wrote after coming home crashed, possibly due to including too many photographs. The restaurant space was previously Janse & Co.<\/p>\n
It was a crazy First Thursday on Kloof Street, Yours Truly and Tigers Milk buzzing. I danced to a song by DJ George, just like old times. \ud83d\udc83\ud83d\udc83\ud83d\udc83<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, \u00a0extended to 15 February on 11 January, and extended but relaxed on 1 February, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/p>\n
