Corona Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f<\/u><\/p>\n

#Grateful for a lovely day, the weather being cooler in the morning but warming up to 22 C this afternoon, and it drizzling now, with two days of rain to come; for taking care of the \u2018baby\u2019 Smart of Barbara Lenhard and Flo Gast in my garage; for a snooze; for an energetic walk up to the Camps Bay Primary Symmonds Sport Field above Camps Bay Drive, where I had been alerted to lots of litter and overflowing green bins, my community duty rewarding me 300 Discovery points in walking uphill to get there; for the contribution to my cleaning action from Bronwyn Keene-Young, volunteered by a local resident, becoming a promised monthly support \ud83d\udc99; for seeing George Sax for a short while at Utopia; for a lovely evening at Anatoli Mediterranean Restaurant, going there to take some more food and belly dancing photographs, and bumping into long last seen friend J\u00fcrgen M\u00fcss of Karoo Biking who came to eat there; for receiving R200 cash back from Discovery Insure for my low distance driving and good driving behavior \ud83d\udc99; and for being happy and healthy.<\/p>\n

I popped past the home of Gary Peterson to drop off a chocolate he had forgotten in my car on our Food Road Trip on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Utopia had a busy night ahead. Two sets of 16 year birthdays were celebrated at the restaurant. Loved the supervising parents sitting at tables nearby. \ud83c\udf88\ud83c\udf88\ud83c\udf88<\/p>\n

Beth was the Belly Dancer at Anatoli tonight, looking beautiful in green, and looking like a butterfly in one of the dances. Chef Jacques du Toit created a Vegan Chocolate Mousse dessert, not believing that he could create it from chocolate and avocado! He made a Chia, Coconut and blueberry compote dessert for me to try too. I tried a Dolmades too, and had a lovely glass of Saronsberg Provenance Syrah. Anatoli also had a busy evening.<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, \u00a0extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/p>\n
