Corona Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f<\/u><\/p>\n

#Grateful for a day that looked like rain initially and was chilly, but cleared up to become sunny, at 21C; for a most lucky day of generosity bestowed upon me, receiving a delivery of Wagyu burger patties and a steak from Garth Angus of Wagyu Direct, for a tea treat and tons of info about joining Discovery Bank from Maki Chase at Schoon in Sea Point, for receiving a bottle of Merlot from Gary Peterson when I dropped off some of the patties, for a treat of a winetasting at Utopia Cape Town, loving The Valley Chardonnay, and for Utopia Chef Pavel asking me which dish I would like to eat….. choosing the kabeljou and scallops \u2764\ufe0f, making it a lovely Status meeting ; for collecting my Dinkel rolls; for a fabulous walk combining Camps Bay and Bakoven, and blessed with the most beautiful sunset, and for crossing over into 20300 Discovery points\ud83d\ude4f; for managing to finish this post just in time, before we are Loadshedding at 20h00; for Minsky getting back safely after being out the whole night; and for being happy and healthy. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n

I slept very badly last night, only 4 hours, so was very irritable this morning.<\/p>\n

But that all faded away when I met Maki, and she gave me a detailed run down of all the discounts and Miles to be earned when I join Discovery Bank. Thank you Maki\ud83c\udf39\ud83c\udf39\ud83c\udf39<\/p>\n

I had the most amazing service from Cain at Dinkel Bakery. I only had half an hour to get to him, and was worried that I would not make it in time. So he offered to leave my poppyseed rolls at the Superette close by, and said that I can pay him next week. Wow \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, \u00a0extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/p>\n
