\"\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/b> goes to the Apple iStore in the Waterfront, and its Technical Advisor Nicholas Gomes, for his amazing service to transfer my photographs and files from my former very outdated iPad Generation 3 to a new Generation 8 iPad. He chatted away while doing the transfers, was super nice, and there was no charge for the service. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to Shaw Academy, an online learning site, with the most shocking business ethics. I saw an ad on Facebook for a free (never trusting this word again) Social Media course valued at R399. I signed up and was very concerned about having to provide my credit card details for the free course. They had a very smart motivation for requiring the card details. The minute I proceeded, I was told that I needed to buy a Course pack at R499! I felt so cheated that I wrote on Instagram DM and Gmail that I was cancelling the course. Roy wrote back, telling me the procedure of how to cancel, which I followed. The last step of the cancellation was that I had to phone a local 087 number on weekdays, during working hours. In the mean time, I am being flooded with Sms messages and emails about the course, and offering me the opportunity to do the course after all, with a free Course pack! The cancellation call was an automated one, I having to press a number on the keypad to confirm my cancellation, with a request to reconsider my decision. \u00a0The final shock was seeing that the company had deducted two payments\u00a0from my credit card!<\/p>\n
