\"\"The Sweet Service Award<\/b> goes to Checkers at the Constantia Emporium, \u00a0at which I shopped earlier this week, just after 8h30. I\u2019m not a supermarket lover, and have no affinity for Checkers as a brand, the only store I\u2019ve been to on occasion being the one in the Point Mall in Sea Point,with poor service, especially at the tills. The newish Constantia Emporium Branch is fantastic, has massive space in clearly laid out aisles, as well as shops- in-the-shop, such as My Sugar. Special offers for their Loyalty Card holders were clear to see, and the friendly staff member at the till offered to organise one for me painlessly, just requesting my ID number and cell phone number verbally, with no forms to fill in. I was hunting for my cats\u2019 special Whiskas food, and the prices were the same as via Checkers60, with whom my order went so horribly wrong, as per below! It would be worth my while to drive to Constantia Emporium, to shop there in future.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to Checkers60, the second time shopping with this online service, and experiencing the same problem as previously: the service is not real-time, therefore the lack of availability is not visible in the system when one orders. Sneakily they add 15% to the costs, as well as their R35 delivery fee. Due to the delivery fee, I decided to order two boxes of Whiskas pouches, my cats\u2019 favourites, and selected another Whiskas variant as an alternative, as the system forces one to do. For a second time, they only delivered one of the two boxes of pouches, but sent Pamper instead, which I did not order, charging me my full ordered price, plus 15%, blocking my card with this amount! While I was correctly charged in the end, I\u2019m sitting with a box of cat food pouches I did not order! Checkers should check out TakeaLot for how to do superbly-efficient online shopping!<\/p>\n
