Earlier this week the truth emerged: another family member appointed an ad agency, supposedly meant to incorporate me into their work for the client, work that I had been appointed to do. The most bizarre situation \ud83d\ude31. It was clear that this could not work, so I invoiced them for the cancellation period, and was impressed that they paid immediately. I could say much more, but I\u2019ve learnt that having Ts and Cs are vital. I certainly didn\u2019t expect to be treated so unprofessionally, especially by woman (owner) client Diane Armstrong.\ud83e\udd75<\/p>\n<p>I have been very lucky with my seven careers to date, the highlight having been the six months of being seconded to Koos Bekker, now Chairman of Naspers and owner of Babylonstoren, but then starting off in establishing M-Net, now known as Multichoice. TJ Strydom called me out of the blue (pardon the pun&#8230;. ) today, telling me that he is a journalist writing a biography of Koos Bekker. He had found me via Google, and he was happy for the names I could give him of the ad agency staff I worked with about 35 years ago when M-Net was established. He has ordered a copy of my book too, as I wrote in it about my luck of working with Koos at the time. \ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n<p>SA Corona Status: not yet available<\/p>\n<p>FitBit 7500 steps 5 km \ud83d\udc63<\/p>\n<p>Lovemylife\u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, \u00a0extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime.
