\"\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to Labotessa Caf\u00e9 in the Hotel with the same name, and its owner Johan du Plessis. \u00a0The Caf\u00e9 serves the most delicious Dutch-style apple tart and cream, and has become a special hide-away break on Church Square in the City. \u00a0On a former visit to the Caf\u00e9 I had shared with Johan how wonderful the Dyptique shampoo which he had gifted me is for my hair. As I left the Caf\u00e9, his assistant handed me a packet with more Dyptique shampoo and conditioner. Yesterday I popped in for another slice of tart after a client meeting, and Johan and I had a long conversation in the cosy Dutch-inspired Caf\u00e9. He refused to accept my payment for the tart. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to the Department of Home Affairs. I need a letter from the Department to confirm that I have never applied for South African citizenship, for the renewal of my German passport. When I arrived there, I was told that the Department is not offering this service during Lockdown!<\/p>\n
