Many restaurants have closed and are giving their staff annual leave. Many have done the sums and cannot reach or exceed the breakeven point. Restaurateur Michael Townsend opened his grand Grand Pavilion in Sea Point, and \u00a0Fancy Franks in Somerset West. \u00a0Chef Michael Broughton opened Cucina in Stellenbosch, and plans to open three more restaurants in Stellenbosch in conjunction with Brenaissance Wine &amp; Stud. Chef Jan-Hendrik opened KLEIN JAN at Tswalu Kalahari.<\/p>\n<p>The latest permanent Lockdown Restaurant Closure list stands at 110 Restaurants in Cape Town and the Winelands.
