Corona Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

#grateful for the sun being back, nice in the sun but very chilly at 14C max today; for a blue Monday and Friday the 13th all rolled into one, but with some highlight silver linings; for a lovely client meeting, planning ahead for the restaurant reopening later this month; for the lovely Drambuie miniature which Gary Peterson gifted me last week, washing the troubles of the day away; for a lunchtime walk through Bakoven and a late afternoon one in our garage to meet my step goal; and for being happy, healthy, and free.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So sad to see what is happening in our country, with rumours of shops running out of food and petrol stations set to run dry in KZN and Gauteng, and banks closing for the next few days. \ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22<\/p>\n

In Camps Bay only Tigers Milk, the Kove Collection restaurants, plus take-away coffee shops are open. Terribly sad to see the majority choosing to remain closed.\u00a0 <\/span>\ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22<\/p>\n

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March 2020 and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, \u00a0extended to 15 February on 11 January 2021, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, moved back to level 3 on 16 June, and moved back to Adjusted Level 4 on 28 June and extended by two weeks on 11 July, \u00a0is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.<\/p>\n
