Zum ersten Mal seit Beginn der Pandemie z\u00e4hlt man inzwischen wieder mehr Restauranter\u00f6ffnungen als Schlie\u00dfungen.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/em><em><span data-originalfontsize=\"14pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"18.66666603088379\">Von Hans-Werner Klein<\/span><\/em>Schon in der Silvesternacht konnte die Gastronomie l\u00e4nger ge\u00f6ffnet bleiben. Die Aufhebung der Ausgangssperre bedeutet f\u00fcr sie wieder bessere Einnahmen und mehr Reservierungen. Gleichzeitig entfielen die aufgrund der Omikron-Variante verh\u00e4ngten Reisebeschr\u00e4nkungen der USA und vieler europ\u00e4ischer L\u00e4nder. Die Branche blickt daher zurzeit optimistischer auf das begonnene Jahr.Das sah w\u00e4hrend der Pandemie noch ganz anders aus, als die Meldungen \u00fcber Restaurantschlie\u00dfungen im ganzen Land nicht abrissen. Die Liste \u2013 auch prominenter Namen \u2013 wurde immer l\u00e4nger, Tausende von Einheimischen verloren ihre Besch\u00e4ftigung und das Einkommen f\u00fcr ihre Familien.Alleine in Kapstadt und dem nahegelegenen Weinland mussten rund 120 Restaurants schlie\u00dfen, darunter The Restaurant at Waterkloof, Balducci\u2018s und Belthazar in der Waterfront, Foliage in Franschhoek, The Shortmarket Club, La T\u00eate, The Test Kitchen und Greenhouse \u2013 Lokale, die fest an ihren Standorten verwurzelt waren und f\u00fcr viele mit besonderen Erinnerungen verbunden sind.<\/p>\n<p>Doch nun \u00fcbersteigt die Zahl der Neuer\u00f6ffnungen erstmals die der Schlie\u00dfungen: 125 Restaurants haben in den vergangenen 21 Monaten er\u00f6ffnet, darunter Rykaarts Stellenbosch, Mi Caff\u00e9 in der Bree Street, weitere Restaurants folgen in K\u00fcrze in The Barracks. <span data-originalfontsize=\"14pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"18.66666603088379\">Au\u00dferdem das Shoreditch House Restaurant im Winchester Hotel, und im Camps Bay Beach House haben Gibson\u2018s Gourmet Burgers &amp; Ribs, Summer Pop-Up Food Truck, Marcel\u2018s Frozen Yoghurt, The Pottery, Bo-Vine und Cause &amp; Effect er\u00f6ffnet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span data-originalfontsize=\"14pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"18.66666603088379\">Die Informationen zu diesem Beitrag wurden von Christiane von Ulmenstein zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.
