The Sweet Service Award<\/b> goes to The Creamery at the new Harbour View in the V & A Waterfront, and to Marvellous, for his marvellous service when I wanted to pay for my ice cream treat in cash. They only accept payment by credit card, probably not due to Covid, but due to staff pilfering! Putting R44 on a credit card is ridiculous! Marvellous found a way around this and made me a very happy customer, enjoying my treat on the shared\u00a0outside terrace. Details of his gesture will remain a secret. <\/p>\n

\"\"The Sour Service Award<\/b> goes to Discovery Sea Point, where a staff member was meant to come back to me about the additional Discovery 65 plus tests for the Health Check, which Clicks Waterfront had not done when I did my Health Check last November. This cost me not reaching Diamond Status for 2021! I went to the store earlier this week, and was told by the Manager that he had tried to call a number of times. My phone is on silent most of the time, barely receiving calls. Discovery has my email address, but he did not bother to email me! He incorrectly captured details of a Glaucoma Test done by my ophthalmologist, when I asked him to assist me in sending the proof to Vitality. It was rejected due to incorrect capture, which means that I have to go back to the store next week! The service of Discovery is decreasing rapidly, the additional Health Check test requirements not having been communicated to me, something which was introduced in 2021 for the first time. Discovery itself does not do the 65 plus tests, so one is forced to go to Dischem or Clicks!<\/p>\n
