Corona Lockdown Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f<\/u><\/p>\n
#gratitude for a beautiful day, mild at 26C with no wind; for a terrible start to the day and a brilliant ending; for working on client posts this morning; for a client Status meeting at the Bay Hotel, all the better with a Gin and Dry lemon that each of us had, making it a two hour meeting; for a Gibson\u2019s ice cream spoil at the Beachfront; for being booked for a Tourist Guiding job with a German client for later this week \ud83d\udc99; for two persons coming to the rescue when a homeless person wanted to attack me for telling him to pick up the mess he was making when he scratched in a green bin, shouting \u2018voetsek\u2019 at me and frothing at the mouth, the same guy I took the Pick n Pay trolley from yesterday – thank you Ashley \ud83c\udf39; for a call from special friend Stuart; and for being happy, healthy and free. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
What a commotion to start the day. \ud83d\ude31 Brent the garage door man messaged me this morning to say he had been sent a two page form by Sandak Lewin this morning, with zillions of questions about his business, after already having been asked for a copy of his ID and bank account on Saturday. He finished the job for us on Friday and did not ask for a deposit before installing new beams. I paid his call out fee in cash as a sign of goodwill, which I have not been paid back even though Sandak Lewin has all my details. Brett was so furious that he threatened to fetch his beams at 12h00. I had to threaten and demand of Sandak Lewin that he be paid today, as our garage door has given us so much trouble in the past two months. Sandak Lewin was adamant that he complete the form first. In the end they paid him today but won\u2019t use him again if he does not complete the form. They even asked me to pay him! I was paid as well today but we will only see the money tomorrow. Shocking, given that it is our Trustee money and not that of Sandak-Lewin. \ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21<\/p>\n
