Corona Lockdown Gratitude \ud83d\ude4f<\/u><\/p>\n
#grateful for a day that didn\u2019t start off too well but got better and better; for getting 6 hours of continuous sleep last night \ud83d\ude4f; for a working morning, doing some chasing up of promises made, and preparing for two Status meetings; for fetching my new specs, very happy with them, and delighted that I received a 20% discount as a Discovery client; for donating blood, there being a huge shortage \ud83e\ude78; for a wonderful gin tasting of Cape Saint Blaize gins from Mossel Bay at Utopia Cape Town, presented in beautiful handmade ceramic bottles, inspired by the lighthouse in Mossel Bay, with Classic, Fleuristic and Oceanic options, the latter resembling a whisky, and I\u2019ve ordered a bottle, a good fun way to start our Status meeting \ud83d\ude31; for a spoil of a hand roll and a prawn cocktail at Willoughby\u2019s, the latter being fabulous; for finding that Woolworths has solved its croissant supplier problem \ud83e\udd50\ud83d\udc4f; for popping in at Gibson\u2019s for its #SaxintheCity with George Sax \ud83c\udfb7 and indulging in a wonderful Chocolate Brownie Shake; for photographing wonderful sunsets in Mouille Point and at the Camps Bay Tidal Pool; and for being happy, healthy and free. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n
My Blogpost today was about the lighting up of the City Hall in solidarity with Ukraine last night. Sadly a one day occurrence.<\/p>\n

I had to chase the completion of my specs, promised for today or tomorrow, three staff members telling me different things, including that the spec lab had to import lenses from overseas and send the completed specs back to Sea Point from Joburg, and that I would only receive them next week. And then surprisingly I was messaged three hours later that I could collect them \ud83d\ude31.<\/p>\n
For the first time ever I had a dreadful experience at the WP Blood Donation place in Loop Street. The lovely usual persons were on leave, so they had replacement staff, asking repeat questions, being slow, for hurting me with the needle for the first time, bruising me, and then shouted at by a Jenny for having the cheek to ask if I could have a plaster to cover the place in which the needle had been removed. I was 15 minutes late for my client meeting due to their slowness, I being the only blood donor in the facility. I will lodge a complaint tomorrow. \ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21\ud83d\ude21<\/p>\n
The other three EbbTide Trustees have been up to their shenanigans again, taking a decision amongst themselves, and I being informed of the outcome, without being included in the decision making . Shockingly done with the support of our Portfolio Manager at Sandak Lewin! \ud83d\ude21<\/p>\n
