I stopped to buy fresh figs, wanting two trays, charged at R70 each, and was denied a better rate for buying two trays, being offered such a discount on a previous purchase there, and having experienced them as very pushy in getting one to buy additional items. I was then told that the R70 was a reduced rate, down from R75, which was an outright lie, as they cost R 70 on my last purchase too! When I decided to buy one box only and gave them a R100 note, they were scratching in a container with coins, as if they had no change. I insisted on receiving the change in notes, which I received eventually, they joking that they would not give me change, I not finding this funny at all!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The WhaleTales Sweet &amp; Sour Service Awards are presented every Friday on the WhaleTales blog.
