\"\"<\/a>Today the full list of winners of the 2010 Platter’s Wine Guide 5-star wine winners has been\u00a0released on the blogsite of The Pinotage Club.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Platter’s website does not\u00a0provide any information about its top red and white wine 2010 winners, and the number of varietals and multi-winners, as provided in its media release two days ago and reported\u00a0on the\u00a0WhaleTales <\/strong>blog yesterday\u00a0– see below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Franschhoek has\u00a0three 5-star winners in the list, the most ever\u00a0– Chamonix Chardonnay, Stony Brook Ghost Gum,\u00a0and Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignon.\u00a0 A surprising omission from the list is Hamilton-Russell, known to be one of the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producers in the Hemel and Aarde Valley.<\/p>\n
