\"\"<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to the kind gentleman who came to our rescue when he saw a car guard steal the sunglasses off my head inside my open roof car as we were leaving a parking bay on Alfred Street outside the Old Biscuit Mill’s Neighbourgoods Market last Saturday. \u00a0We had been harassed by the (non-official) car guard when we arrived, and we did not expect his continued harassment about payment on our return to the car. \u00a0The passerby saw the theft, and screamed at the car guard until he returned the sunglasses to me! \u00a0The passerby walked on to his own vehicle, so we were not able to thank him. \u00a0Tweets about the incident reflected that other visitors to the market have had their cars damaged by aggressive car guards in the area. \u00a0There is no security outside the Old Biscuit Mill, especially not on Saturdays, when one cannot park inside. \u00a0The operators of the parking at the Old Biscuit Mill are often rude, and receive complaints for their poor service.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to the V&A Waterfront for still not having completed the tiling in the ‘new’ Ladies cloakroom (previously the men’s cloakroom) last week, which has been in its unfinished state for the past two months. \u00a0There are no toilet roll holders either. We pointed out the unfinished tiling in a Sour Service Award<\/a><\/span><\/strong> six weeks ago. The cloakroom was opened to the public despite its unfinished state! There was no response from the V & A when we Tweeted about it again last week, reflecting that the mall management just does not care about customer feedback! \u00a0When we wrote to V&A Waterfront CEO David Green, we did not receive any response from him, a regular pattern reflecting that lack of customer respect comes from the top!<\/p>\n
