* \u00a0 Dornier has launched its 2013 Chenin Blanc in the\u00a0Cocoa Hill range. \u00a0Wine maker Jeanine Faure shared the following tasting notes:\u00a0“Being a truly versatile variety and lending itself very well to many different styles, we have aimed at making a fresh and primary fruit driven approach. Flavours of white peach, pear and golden delicious apples dominate the nose. * \u00a0 \u00a0JetBlue Airways and SAA<\/strong><\/span><\/a> have announced a bilateral codeshare agreement to seamlessly connect their airlines via \u00a0J. F. Kennedy International Airport and Washington’s Dulles International Airport. The agreement is pending regulatory approval.\u00a0The partnership will allow customers to purchase a single ticket, combining SAA- and JetBlue-operated flights, \u00a0and enjoy benefits such as one-stop check-in and baggage transfer.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 A market with a difference is the\u00a0Bo Kaap Food and Craft Market at the top of Wale Street, open on Saturday from 10h00 – 14h00, in the heart of the colourful suburb, with tasty treats, scarves, handbags, and handmade jewellery. * \u00a0\u00a0The art work of\u00a0ten top South African artists will be auctioned when 14 acclaimed chefs team up with seven sommeliers and celebrity performers at\u00a0‘Chefs who Share \u2013 the ART of giving<\/i>‘ gala evening in aid of youth development in the Cape Town City Hall on 5 September. \u00a0\u00a0The proceeds of the auction of original pieces donated by each of the artists will go to two youth development charities: MAD CHARITY (Make A Difference) and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. \u00a0The artists, whose works will come under the hammer are Lionel Smit, Anton Smit, Louis Janse van Vuuren, Jean Doyle, Heike Alleron-Davies, Dylan Lewis, Jacqueline Crewe-Brown, Ryan Hewett, Anthea Delmotte, and Russell Travers. \u00a0 \u00a0As the\u00a0tickets for the event are sold out, the organisers have opened up the auction for online and telephonic bidding.
