\"Cape<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to Cape Plumbing and Bathroom Supplies on Strand Street, which previously operated as On Tap, an outlet which has always offered good service. Even though I don’t go there frequently, I received a friendly personalised welcome by name from the manager. \u00a0 I was attended to quickly, requiring a basin plug. \u00a0The manager offered the plug for free, as a New Year’s gift, saying it would cost him more to open an invoice than the R3 cost. \u00a0It was a small gesture which meant a lot in a very busy period last week.<\/p>\n

\"Cape<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to Cape Town International and its parking facilities, and was nominated by Darren McDermott: ‘\u00a0There seems to be some scam taking place with the long stay car park in the airport, there are only 156 places, think reduced due to building work and its a first come first served basis (on website). \u00a0I tried to park my car the other day, they said it was full and I had to go into the car park 4 which is 110 rand a day v 45 rand a day for the P5 long stay. I took a look in P5 and there were lots of spare places. Surely if they have reduced the places they have an obligation to offer more places in P4 for the same price, also I wonder how the first come first served works, how do you actually know that there is a space when you leave home for the airport. \u00a0Everytime I try and park in P5 there are issues, place closed off, machine not working. \u00a0And I believe this place wins best airport in africa award every year.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Maybe stick this in the sour award but as least your clients should know’.<\/em><\/p>\n
