* \u00a0 An American study shows that the most annoying habits of fliers<\/strong><\/span><\/a> are ranked as inattentive parents of children, \u00a0back seat kickers, ‘aromatic<\/em>‘ passengers, excessive drinkers, and overly chatty passengers!<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 The first sulphite-free wine range has been launched by Neil Patterson Wines, using South Africa-developed SurePure’s photopurification technology to clean liquids with ultra violet light, a more environmentally responsible and healthier wine preservative method. \u00a0The range consists of Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Merlot 2009, Chenin Blanc 2012, and Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, sourcing grapes from single vineyards. * \u00a0 The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has forecast a growth of \u00a031% in passenger numbers internationally<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, between 2012 – 2017. \u00a0 \u00a0By 2017 3,9 billion passengers are forecast to be transported by airline travel.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 KWV’s classic and sparkling wines will be available in India<\/strong><\/span><\/a> from month-end, after a marketing and distribution agreement was signed \u00a0between the wine producer and distributor Kristal Spirits India, planning to sell 30000 cases in the first three years. India’s wine market is growing by 13% per annum.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 Elsenburg 13 year old Potstill Brandy has been launched, the first commercial brandy to be made at the University of Stellenbosch’s winemaking training institute. \u00a0The new brandy, made by Cellar Technology students from Colombard grapes grown on the Elsenburg farm, \u00a0is welcomed by the SA Brandy Foundation.
