\"Carlos<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to GrandWest for its professional handling of the crowds attending the Carlos Santana concert on Tuesday evening. \u00a0This Award is shared with William of Computicket in Camps Bay, who connected me with a customer in Sea Point, wishing to sell her ticket due to a knee operation the day before the concert, which had been sold out months in advance. \u00a0Not being partial to crowds in big spaces, I was surprised about how smoothly everything went: no traffic problems close by (compared to the Cape Town Stadium concerts), easy to find parking close by, an excellent quality seat, lovely seat neighbours, a very tough security man preventing anyone further back blocking the view of those sitting in the front row of our block by wanting to dance in front of them, \u00a0the incredibly low parking cost of R10, and the ease of leaving without any major traffic blockages. \u00a0The entrance boom did have a technical problem as we arrived, as luck would have it in our queue, and the scanning of bags did slow down the time of getting into the building. \u00a0One could see that this is a well practiced and organised team of staff!<\/p>\n

\"Charly's<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to Charly’s Bakery, which earlier this week angered its customers and Social Media fans and followers in posting photographs of biscuits they had made about Oscar Pistorius and his trial next week, with the question: ‘Not sure if these are in good taste, but they sure taste good’,<\/em>\u00a0reported The Citizen<\/strong>. \u00a0The Meme biscuits found Pistorius\u00a0guilty before the case has commenced, and was found to be disrespectful of the memory of his late partner Reeva Steenkamp. \u00a0Despite deleting the post and apologising as soon as the Social Media storm burst, reaction remained negative about the insensitivity, some posting that they would not support the high profile bakery in future.<\/p>\n
