\"Huguenot<\/a>The Sweet Service Award<\/strong> goes to Huguenot Fine Chocolates, the oldest chocolate manufacturer in Franschhoek. \u00a0They completed wrapping Easter eggs for an order for our Whale Cottage Franschhoek guests within half an hour of placing the order, even though we would have been happy to collect them the following day. \u00a0We were able to choose the colours of the foil wrapping of the eggs too, to match our colour scheme. \u00a0 The chocolate eggs tasted delicious, quite unlike the commercial eggs which were available in retail outlets.<\/p>\n

\"V<\/a>The Sour Service Award<\/strong> goes to the V &A Waterfront, for its staff’s rude service at the Information desk. I had requested a replacement Loyalty Card from Nicole at the beginning of March, and she was extremely rude in her interaction at the time, already having all our details. Despite reporting this on Twitter, there was no apology from the V&A Waterfront management, represented by their cheeky and rude Tweeter Emma Jackson. \u00a0In following this up with another staff member at the Information desk last week, we were told that there is a six month backlog (we have not been contacted about the backlog!), and that the staff member responsible for the cards had already gone home (at 16h15!). \u00a0I was promised that I would be called by Zulfa later the same day, when she had finished her meeting. \u00a0That was ten days ago, and we are still waiting for her call!<\/p>\n
