* \u00a0 CNN<\/strong> has posted a list of ’10 sensational South African wine farms’<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>, written by Claire Hu: \u00a0Creation for its ‘stunning location’<\/em>, La Colombe at Constantia Uitsig for its food (sadly closing down shortly), Upland Estate in Wellington for its ‘Hippie vibe<\/em>‘, \u00a0Waterkloof for its views, Groote Post for its Cape Dutch heritage, Blaauwklippen for its children’s activities, Weltevrede in Robertson for its accommodation, Crystallum Wines (owned by brothers Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson) for its innovation, Fairview for ‘the extras<\/em>‘, and Stark-Cond\u00e9 Wines for its unusual tasting experience.<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 Today and tomorrow the first ever World Travel Market Africa<\/strong><\/span><\/a> takes place in the Cape Town International Convention Centre, as part of Africa Travel Week, which commenced on Monday. \u00a0The Travel Week consisted not only of World Travel Market, but also International Luxury Travel Market Africa, and the Incentives, Business Travel and Meetings Africa, reported The New Age<\/strong>. \u00a0More than 500 international tourism buyers are expected to attend, with 4500 trade visitors. \u00a0Being held just a few days before Indaba in Durban, the Africa Travel Week has ruffled some SA Tourism feathers!<\/p>\n

* \u00a0 Cape Point Vineyards, subject of a hard-hitting expos\u00e9 by Noseweek<\/strong>, has received permission from the City of Cape Town to operate its (already running) restaurant and market<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
