He said that the two windfalls of the &#8216;<em>Mandela factor&#8217;<\/em> and a weak rand may have been bad for the industry, despite benefiting it financially, allowing inferior wines to be produced too. \u00a0The Board of WOSA has the five largest <em>&#8216;black exporters<\/em>&#8216; on its Board of 15, a positive development, Krige added. \u00a0He praised his Board members for working together for the &#8216;<em>good of the whole industry<\/em>&#8216;. \u00a0 Bulk wine exports are environmentally-friendly, it being more &#8216;<em>green&#8217;<\/em> to bottle at the destination. \u00a0He urged the industry to be &#8216;<em>terroirists<\/em>&#8216;, planting cultivars suitable to the soils on its farms. \u00a0He added that the government sees the wine industry as &#8216;<em>too white, too male and too Afrikaans<\/em>&#8216;, and has not acknowledged the transformation that has already taken place.<\/p>\n<p>* \u00a0 Cape Town is praised in the British <strong>InStyle<\/strong>, writing with the headline &#8216;<em>Why Cape Town should be your next holiday destination&#8217;<\/em> and stating that &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.instyle.co.uk\/travel\/hotel-reviews\/why-cape-town-should-be-your-next-holiday-destination\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><em>Cape Town is the place to be&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>. \u00a0Focusing largely on the Mount Nelson Hotel, almost sounding like an advertorial, it does encourage visitors to go up Table Mountain and to experience Robben Island; go on a walking tour of the city centre; visit the &#8216;<em>Boulders Penguin Colony<\/em>&#8216;; \u00a0see whales, dolphins, and seals, and even Great White sharks; experience the Neighbourgoods Market on Saturday mornings; and go to Greenmarket Square.<\/p>\n<p>* \u00a0 An <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eturbonews.com\/45748\/proposal-new-africa-tourism-tax-sets-alarms\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Africa tourism tax on flights and accommodation<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, currently being considered by the African Union, would have a<!--more--> negative impact on tourism demand, economic growth, and employment, says the United Nations World Travel Organisation.<\/p>\n<p>* \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vancouversun.com\/travel\/Africa+natural+wonders+unforgettable\/9830583\/story.html\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Africa is praised as a travel destination<\/strong><\/span><\/a> by <strong>The Vancouver Sun<\/strong>, for giving the writer &#8216;<em>a better understanding of Africa.
