* \u00a0\u00a0Fodor’s\u00a0Travel<\/strong>\u00a0has written a comprehensive article entitled\u00a0‘Wine Lover’s Guide to South Africa<\/em>‘<\/strong><\/a>, praising our country for its excellent\u00a0terroir\u00a0suited to wine farming, and becoming ‘world-renowned’<\/em>, especially our indigenous\u00a0Pinotage. \u00a0Linking food and wine, the Western Cape is becoming increasingly associated with food excellence too. Wine tasting in Stellenbosch is recommended, at\u00a0Kanonkop,\u00a0Tokara, and Waterford Estate, while\u00a0Indochine,\u00a0Delaire\u00a0Graff Restaurant, and Jordan are recommended restaurants. \u00a0 In\u00a0Franschhoek\u00a0La Petite\u00a0Ferme, Haute\u00a0Cabri\u00e8re,\u00a0M\u00f4reson, and the unique\u00a0Franschhoek\u00a0Wine Tram are recommended. \u00a0The Tasting Room and Bread & Wine are recommended restaurants. In\u00a0Paarl\u00a0KWV\u00a0is recommended, with\u00a0Bosman’s\u00a0Restaurant, which is overpraised as ‘one of the best restaurants not only in South Africa, but in the world’<\/em>\u00a0(sic)! \u00a0Groot Constantia is mentioned as being the oldest wine estate, and La\u00a0Colombe\u00a0and The Greenhouse are recommended restaurants.<\/p>\n
